US Department of Education - no bang for the bucks

The chart almost says it all.  Teacher industry spending soared with no change in student outcomes.

5.    The spending didn't bend the curve of learning. (chart)
4.    The department isn't interested in programs like vouchers that clearly help students.
3.    The money is a payoff for ongoing teacher union support to the Democrats.
2.    We can't afford it.
1.    The constitution doesn't authorize a national department.
