First ever proof that an ancient comet struck Earth. One piece from the Sahara is embedded in Tutankhamen's jewellry.

The yellow scarab is from outer space
and the early days of our solar system.
Tutankhamun's Pectoral.
An exciting story that 28 million years ago a comet struck the Sahara and left 6000 square km littered with yellow silica glass and microscopic diamonds.   Tutankhamen's jeweller carved a scarab out of one magnificent piece. This is the first comet impact site ever verified and opens an affordable door to research the early days of the solar system.  No space ship had to collect samples.
